Kirk
Farm, formerly Kemp
Farm, has been in the family for over one hundred years. Until 1967 it was a dairy
and chicken farm. In 1972, it became Kirk Farm and raised dairy replacements and
beef. This lasted until 1982, when we began growing vegetables. We grew twenty-five
acres of vegetables and two greenhouses of bedding plants, selling wholesale and
through our farmstand. In
1998 we switched our operation to a healthier, natural method of production, using
no chemical fertilizers or sprays. During the year 2003, we were certified organic.
We grow what we sell through the CSA and at several local farmer's markets.

Please visit
the farm and see how we operate. Visit with the animals (pigs,
chickens, rabbits and especially Spot, Two Spot and their kids
- our growing group of Tennessee Fainting Goats).
